Block Base Sew Along 3

I haven't had a lot of time or energy to sew, some weeks are just that way.  Work is busy and I come home tired.  I did get this block done I am doing with the Block Base Sew Along with Electric Quilt.  This block will also go in my Farmer's Wife Sampler.

 

Sew Along Block 2

Well this block was a little more challenging to make. 

 It took a couple of minute of studying it to figure out the best way to make the block.  I almost always paper piece blocks with these kinds of weird angles.  

 

Just to give you a little idea of how I pieced the block I have a couple pictures of it under constuction. Here is the back, you can see where I joined the sections together.

Block Base Sew Along Block 1

 

Yes I am going to do this Block Base Sew along being sponsored by Electric Quilt.  They are going to pick12 blocks and my Farmer's Wife Sampler will need some extra blocks since I want to make my king size.  So it seems like a good fit for me. 

Do you remember my Farmer's Wife Sampler?  I know I haven't worked on it for a long time.  It has been calling to me a little.  So now maybe it will be happy for awhile.
