Thanksgiving Day Cards I made

Prior to Thanksgiving, I made some Thanksgiving day cards for some of my closest friends and family members. I made 11 in total.
The most complicated but fun card I made was a stand-alone basket designed by Karen Burniston. She is a very creative designer and has an engineering background so many of her card designs have moving parts. In October I made this basket for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. It is a very versatile design. I have Valentine's card design in the back of my mind.

My Thanksgiving Baskets.

My Halloween Basket.

My second card was also by Karen Burniston. This is the inside.

The outside.

Some of the other cards I made I used the wreath maker by Gina K Designs.  She designs mostly stamps but the wreath maker is a lot of fun. I meet her last year (2018) at the Scrapbooking Expo here in Mesa. A very nice and talented lady.

Here are the cards I made using the wreath maker.

The last design I made I used a stamp from Gina K and dies from Karen Burniston. I really liked how this one turned out.

These were fun to make and the receipts enjoyed them,
so I have been told.

Happy stitching, paper crafting whatever you do, enjoy your day!

Happy Thanksgiving

To you and yours!
May your day be filled with family, friends, love, happiness, health and a feeling of gratitude for all your blessings.

It was six years ago today that I started my blog.  I have enjoyed the journey and the wonderful people I have meet here.  Thanks for your friendship and support through the years.
I may not post as often as I once did, but that is only because I have those two wonderful girls that keep me busy and happy.  I have some posts ideas in my brain but I haven't worked them up yet.  Until I do, take care and be happy!

Scrapbooking

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and are having a stress free getting ready for Christmas or other Holidays.
We are doing a little scripture a day to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas. I found this neat idea on LDS.org of a Christmas Countdown. Even if you start late it will still be a good idea.

We had lots of company for Thanksgiving but I forgot to get pictures.  I was very hungry by the time dinner was severed and I only wanted to eat!  Dinner was very nice.

The day after Thanksgiving I took advantage of have the big table that was set up for our guests in the living room and did some scrapbooking!  I am working on a special project that you will see posted on Friday the 6th.  The project is part of a Blog Hop with Kiwi Lane Design Templates.

As you can see I made a Big Mess also, but I do clean up after myself.  It was great having all the room to work on.

I have been doing some quilting also but I don't have any pictures to post yet so I'll save that for another day.  Now to go work on the tree some more.

Have fun doing everything!
